The dev blog is online! woo!

So yeah, after much persuasion from my players I have elected to create this blog detailing my homebrew roleplaying system, both mechanicly and fluff-wise, for public access.

Soon I will post more about the roleplaying system's core mechanics, and hopefully someone, somewhere will find this useful or fun or anything like that.

This next part will be aimed towards beginners. Veterans of pen and paper style role playing games can skip ahead a bit.

Before we start, what do you need to use the D6 system?
Well, you'll need a set of standard six-sided die (hereby referred to as D6). You're going to need a few, say six dice total. If you do not have separate dice to use, you could pilfer a Yahtzee or monopoly game of its' dice.

Second of all, you'll need a pen, and something to write upon, like say, a paper. This is also replacable by a computer and a text editor.

Third, you'll need a vivid imagination, as well as a group of friends to play with. I would recomend a standard roleplaying group, 4-6 people in total, of which one is the GM (game master) and the rest are the players. It's the GM's duty to create the adventures you are going to perform, as well as arbitrate the rules of the game. The players will be in charge of playing out the campaign through creating characters through which they will play out the games' story line as the GM tells it.

Veteran players can resume reading here
So, you will need:
*a bunch of d6 die
*pen and paper, or a computer with a text editor
*a standard sized roleplaying group

With my next entry, I will start to get into the rules of the game, starting with the attribute and dice system.
